Without Borders

Twist, jut
buttocks
full back,
hand,
pressed against flesh
so comforting
in my dreams
there is no memory

But the soft
pad
of my foot
rests
against the soft
bristle of your leg
As I snooze
with you,
your
flesh
is a continent
without borders

1999.
